So what is interoperability?
Interoperaiblity enables your Student Management System and KnowledgeNET to share information seamlessly across a secure and stable platform.
What does this mean for our school/learners/teachers/parents?- More time to focus on teaching and learning and less time spent on labour intensive data administration.
- More effective partnerships between home and school.
- Better reporting on student achievement and outcomes to key stakeholders.

Interoperability improves the flow of communication between school and home. Parents no longer need to rely on their children to relay important information about their learning and achievement. Simply by logging into KnowledgeNET parents can access up-to-date information about their child's educational progress. Once logged in, they can view latest assessment results, attendance records, homework/assignment details, latest news, events and more!
By choosing interoperability you can reduce teacher workload and improve the timeliness and quality of your reporting. There is no double handling of data with interoperability. Assessment data you chose to share can be transferred from your SMS to KnowledgeNET and displayed in easy-to-read graphs. You'll also be keeping our environment "green" by using less paper and saving more trees!
Interoperability takes the hassle out of creating and managing users. Anytime a new student is entered into your SMS, a new KnowledgeNET user account is generated for the student and caregivers.
